Bindlestiff Open Stage Variety Show

Bindlestiff Family Cirkus's beloved Open Stage Variety Show is back for another season on stage AND on your screens! Streaming live from the Voorhees Theatre at New York City College of Technology.

Featuring a first look at NYC's emerging talents in circus, sideshow, vaudeville, burlesque, dance, music, and beyond. Even if you can't make it in person, you can still get a little Cirkus in your life.

Hosted by Keith "Bindlestiff" Nelson with an eclectic cast of variety superstars. No two shows are the same!

Tickets are a suggested donation of $15 and are free to the CUNY community with CUNY ID. Stay tuned for when sales begin!

The Escape from the Gravesend Inn

City Tech Theatreworks Presents: The Escape from the Gravesend Inn, an escape room experience in the Voorhees Theater!

In 1895 in Gravesend, Brooklyn, it is reported that a fatal carriage accident claimed the lives of the owners of the popular Gravesend Inn Hotel, Lord Jasper de Gore and his wife Lady de Gore.

It is now January 1933. 37 years since that fateful accident, the hotel has surprisingly managed to keep its doors open to the public. However, the hotel has undergone a darker tone… eerie whispers can be heard throughout the halls… Worst of all, guests have started disappearing, vanishing without a trace; they are checking in but not checking out. The hotel is mysteriously still in the name of Lord Jasper DeGore.

You have been given special access as detectives to investigate the hotel lobby. You can check in to The Escape from the Gravesend Inn, but can you check out? This is a 30-45 minute escape room experience presented by City Tech Theatreworks!

During this experience, you and your team of detectives will investigate the strange occurrences and disappearances that have been going on at the Gravesend Inn, solving puzzles and interactive challenges designed and built by students from City Tech's Entertainment Technology and Emerging Media departments. Work together to escape… if you can.
